Hey guys,

I need some help diagnosing the car and seeing what could be wrong with the car. The car is leaking major boost, I used to peak 23psi now its 15psi. When I start off in gear the car bogs a bit and then drives OK. When I hit boost it seems like the car is dumping all of the boost out because it makes a loud whistle sound and basically goes no where. When I get off the gas the boost levels fluctuate a bit and rests at 25hg(not normal) and then goes back to 21hg(normal). I thought it might have been my FPR but I am not throwing the code for it.

Here is my first set of vag-com fault codes:

2 Faults Found:

I got the digitalhippie PCV fix done...I checked the DV connections, cleaned out the MAF sensor, checked the intercooler connection, checked the intake connections and all is fine. My mods are in my sig. Any help would be appreciated because it is like torture driving the car and I cant find out what is wrong with it.:frown:

Thanks:thumbsup:

Got an update and found these faults...I think the intake manifold flap is causing all of these problems. Anyone got a DIY on how to fix it? Or any advice?

This is a wild guess I'm pretty sure I'm wrong but i'll throw it out there. Does Revo have the same thing like APR where they've got that throttle body alignment program? Sorry for the dumb ass answer but I thought atleast i'd try...

it sounds like the intake manifold tumble flaps. they help the car run leaner on start to warm the engine up faster. so i would bring it to the dealer and slap them.. then make them change it

Just so everyone knows the whole cause of the problem was a loose silicone hose on the forge twincooler(I guess I didnt check my FMIC connections good enough. Digital Hippie helped me out throughout the whole ordeal and he is the one that spotted the problem so a big thanks goes to him...he's a very helpful guy.

I have the same problem right now after installing my intercooler. Guess I have to check all of that. what a pain. At least it's not expensive though.
