Throttle pulsing problem.

Other day I was driving on the highway...

If I'm going 100km on the highway and press 3/4 throttle to accelerate to pass... The throttle/turbo/engine pulses back and fourth quickly (you can hear it clearly through the exhaust) Car feels like it's going back and fourth back and fourth with the pulses.

At WOT there is no issue.

NO CEL on dash. I don't have vag com

Uni Stage 2
Milltek Turbo Back
Forge twintake
Synapse DV
FMIC with fullt piping

I never had this issue with all these mods... This just started to happen a few days ago.

Thoughts anyone? Cam follower? Fuel pump? Flapper motor?

Got a boost gauge? Does the boost fluctuate with the engine pulsing?

Yes it does, very slightly. The pulsing is not violent.. It's very light, but very audible though my milltek turboback exhaust.

It could be your DSG. I have heard of this pulsing before and people have linked it back to mechatronic, or DMF failure.

I specifically remember Nintendo Dude talking about this back in the day. Should help your searching.

Could be your coilpacks...I had the same problem and scanned my car with vagcom and saw 3 codes for misfiring. This was done AFTER I did couple of nice 3rd WOT pulls

Pierre, didn't you get your camfollower replaced only recently?

I never had any pulsing with my dsg when it had problems.. just rough shifting.

got it vag com'd.. no issues.

Checked the cam follower it's 99%

Got the car reflashed to the newest Unitronic Stage 2 software revision and my pulsing is gone.
