Heres my car from beginning to now. I will be updating this thread with anything new added, to keep everyone else updated, and to keep track of what I have done. There will be a lot of pics, so if your still using internet from the stone age, leave now. On to the thread/pics... Purchased new on June 2, 2008.   ^ I cant believe how different it looks now! July 9, 2008 - Yellow city lights and spray tinted tails.   July 13, 2008 - Smoked Sidemarkers, OSIR spoiler (obviously did not fit lol), and stickers!    August 10, 2008 - Plastidipped rear emblem, Tinted & Dropped! Bought Autotech Clubsport kit and removed OSIR spoiler.    September 2, 2008 - Wheels! I found a local who was selling RS6 Replica wheels. Dont remember what the sizing was. I also removed the plastidip from the rear emblem and put it on the front  .   Heres another with the RS6 wheels  Now on to my "HDR phase"  October 23, 2008 - Weathertech visors, Votex front lip and GTI sideskirts   Heres a non HDR'd one  October 24, 2008 - Pictures with a friend  more HDR lol

Winter mode
January 30, 2009 - Votex lip sold, wheels off for the winter   February 1, 2009 - GTI Rear valence, GLI sideskirts, and mesh grill fresh from the body shop!    I also picked up a Painted Votex lip from a local dubber  February 10, 2009 - GTI rear and Magnaflow catback installed  February 24, 2009 - Bought a Highline CECM and installed OEM fogs   March 4, 2009 - Bought some VMR VB3's and test fitted them  March 8, 2009 - Painted Votex installed, H&R street coils installed, VMR VB3 put on     March 12, 2009 - GTI Headlights installed  March 15, 2009 - GLI sideskirts installed     March 22, 2009 - Rabbit 5-bar lower grilles installed  April 3, 2009 - Yellow FTPs  Rolling shot  May 2009 - I wanted to go lower so I bought FK Konigsports May 17, 2009 - FK Konigsports and Driver gear tinted tails installed    May 19, 2009 - My tires were too fat and ended up burning my rear quarters. I picked up some huffs in the mean time, and also put on my roof rack.    June 15, 2009 - Skinnier tires acquired for VMR's    July 2, 2009 - Bought my Work VS-XX from Ducky.   I also had my exhaust tips extended     Also got color matched sidemarkers  August 10, 2009 - Driver gear rear spoiler installed.

October 17, 2009 - Just picked up my car from my friends house after air ride install - setup is Universal Air front bags and Air house 2 rear bags with FK struts
   Also bought a Rear carbon fiber diffuser from Genome     Not much happened over the next few months. I bought Duckys LED tails and was just waiting to install them. February 15, 2010 - Euro LED tails installed     Random picture of my trunk set up  March 21, 2010 - Work VS-XX re-finished in J's Racing Teal     May 5, 2010 - I wanted to lay frame so I bought Air lift Slam kit front bags and got the job done  May 16, 2010 - More pics after Air lift bags were installed. I also upgraded to flickr lol      Thats all I have for now. Thanks for looking. I will be updating this thread as I get new stuff for my Rabbit. |

ever think about painting the rub strips? maybe badgeless too?
Not saying you need these, ur car is amazing..keep it up :)

I have an extra front bumper that has painted rubs, but I dont think I'm going to use them. I'm most likely going to have my front end shaved and the grille custom done up. Hopefully before June 12, if not later on down the road. |

when i had my rabbit front, i thought of doing a badgeless grill like the one u have...that should look amazing and def one of a kind. Do it up

so much work has been done to this car! and it just keeps looking cleaner and cleaner. Seats are gonna look great in that car!. and the concept for the front looks amazing. I'm glad i got to see this in person because its so sexy :D. I need to paint my lowers soon.

awesome progression, and June 2..who knew, I bought my GTI June 2, 2007 and as of tonight IM ~300 miles from my warranty being finished and about to hit 50k too

Wheels are just great with the car and like what you´ve done to the car(most of it). But i liked it more before going air. Guess i´m just not into the whole slammed thing.
But damn, even Huffs look great on your car! |
