Stage 1 Remap.
I have a Golf gti ed 30 and i am wanting to stage 1 remap. I have been told from this it goes too 300hp from 230! Can anyone tell me about there experiences from this and has anyone used APR Remaps?

Do it. It was the first mod I did to my gti and it's fantastic it's now how a gti should be. I'm using a revo map and would recommend it.

Not sure about stage 1 but with a DP and a HPFP you could make 323 hp on pump gas.

Hows the mpg been like after the stage 1? I think its going to be the first thing i do. Just waiting to book it in :). Have you had a stage 2 yet?

Yes I used Awesome GTI and paid around £500 I've not gone stage 2 yet I just fitted a miltek exhaust system and carbonio air intake. As for fuel consumption i don't find it any heavier but that all depends how heavy you are with your right foot.

Rolling road figures vary! Iv seen print outs with 270-280 HP and then sometimes 300+.
What ever the figure is, stage1 remap changes the car for the best :D. I am stage2+ on my ED30. Revo! |

What figures have you got out of your ed 30? What other mods have you had done to assist the stage 2?
Im hoping for 300+ figures after the stage 1 :D when i have it done |

Dunno as i not had it dynoed, its around 340hp+ .
Autotech internals fuel pump, ITG air filter, and a BCS exhaust system. |

A remap. More HP/Torque. You dont need any mods to make it work.

Thought it was but wanted to make sure. From autoremap here in Dublin I can get 60bhp ontop of my 197bhp on a stage 1.
At least it's insurance friendly!! |
