turbo timer question

ok so I will be chipped stage2, ghl tbe, forge dv pcv fix etc etc etc,

what kind of turbo timer should I get?

Search before you post and you would find several threads on this. The quick answer I'm giving you is, no it is not needed, the GTI doesnt need a turbo timer.

A turbo timer is not needed. Just take it easy a few minutes before you decide to shut it down. Furthermore, if you ever turn off your car and step outside you can hear the engine cooling down. It is incorporated into the car as a feature. Don't waste your money.

Yeah, from what I understand, the engine in the GTI is designed to continue to circulate oil and coolant around the turbocharger after engine shutdown so you don't have the problems of cooling commonly associated with turbocharged engines.

yea dont we have that electric pump that runs after we shut down. plus i dont see what the big deal is about sitting in your car for an min or 2 when you park

on my old civic turbo, i wired my alarm in conjunction w/ my TT. so i could get out of the car, arm the car while the car is still running.

GTI have 2nd electronic waterpump. itll circulate coolant for a while after you turned your engine off.

Yeah, mine is wired to my parking brake. The car shuts down if its disengaged.
