just an update on this thread.
GTI 60k Service, rang dealers. Chatswood; 60k service is $1200 plus they check the timing belt, if they do it, it's another $900. Total $2100. Buckle's Brookvale; 60k service is $1400, the timing belt is done at 105k / 7yrs Barloworld Mascot; 60k service is $1500, the timing belt is done at 105k / 7yrs 60k service includes DSG transmission oil and filter, $400 at all three.
