I have a giac- x on my 08 gti for 1.5 year and never had any problem, only thing I dont like is it doesn't have cel delete. I have an 06 FSI with only 55,000 miles on it.
Plan is to go HPFP and downpipe sometime next year, so I'll deal with the CEL issues and stuff then.
Anyone here done a cam follower replacement? I just ordered one since I'm sure it hasn't been changed since the car was new, and should get taken care of before I get flashed

I just did my cam follower last Friday its pretty easy, my cam follower its been replace 3 time since I owned it, I did it before I flash the car at 50k with hpfp upgrade replace it again at 70 after I upgrade to stg 2+ the wear is pretty decent. Then replace it 81k the wear is pretty small, i think if you dont drive your car pretty hard your cam follower will last atleast 20k.

Since you have a 06 you might need the special tools defend which hpfp you have.
