K-Sport Front endlink spec

got the endlinks today and the specs are

Rod Diameter 16mm - Stock 10mm
Total length 305mm-355mm - Stock 335mm
about 20mm/0.8 inch up or down

hopefully it has enough adjustments for my coils

Yay you finally got it. Now you can put the swaybar back on. At first I thought this just an OEM swaybar end link that is chopped, threaded, anodized, and put in a tube, but then I saw it's completely different even at the ends.

@ almost 1k miles so far so good, no noise at all and it doesn't look like it's going break soon.

I have koni coilovers currently and am getting a lot of swaybar clunking. Would some shorter endlinks solve this dilemma?

from what I know, If you have an after market sway bars you need longer and stock bars shorter to get rid of the clunking noise.

This endlink will work on both since it can be longer or shorter.

Hope it helps.

If its still to long make your own end links like in the link below. You don't want too long of end links putting too much preload on the sway bar. Bob G http://www.golfmkv.com/forums/showth...light=endlinks

End link length doesen't change 'preload' cos there isn't any 'preload' on a sway bar.
(otherwise than caused by different length end links left/right)

The only think I'd use adjustable end links is if I need space (sway touching control arm)
or to help adjusting cross weights.

First impression: looks and feels very very solid !! They also look more solid than
the K-Sport (from the pictures - never had them in my hands).

Changes steering/toe curve and improves steering under cornering loads and bumps esp. on lowered cars.
Differing to the pics my kit came with black sleeves to protect them from salt and water.

http://www.whiteline.com.au/product_..._number=KCA314

"KCA314 is designed to correct the geometry of the front to reduce bump steer and provide accurate steering precision. Bump Steer is when your wheels steer themselves without input from the steering wheel. The undesirable steering is caused by bumps in the track interacting with improper length or angle of your suspension and steering linkages."
