2013 Subaru BRZ

Seems like many of the major car writers seem to be very impressed with the new 2013 Subaru BRZ !!!

different story though :)

The GTI is not the best car in the entire world right now lol, some people on here would think differently which really cracks me up....however the GTI is a "nice" car and a lot of fun to drive. I love my GTI as I'm the original owner since 2006 and one of the first members on this forum !!!!

Never hurts to look around and see what else is out there. At least the BRZ doesn't resemble a turtle or a frog (GTI rear view) and it doesn't have tall windows and a high roofline. Those are my only complaints about my GTI, since I never had an issue with my cam follower or anything else !!! I always hoped someday that the GTI would resemble my GTI avatar.

Now back to the BRZ....hahah

Well this is the first true performance drive of this all new car...even though this video is of the Toyota GT-86, we all know its the same as the Scion FR-S and the Subaru BRZ !! listen to that amazing sound of the engine....wowzers !

Not a fan of the yucky red leather Toyota interior and steering wheel. I think the Subaru BRZ interior is the nicest.

A nice simple interior and dash. Nice thick leather wrapped steering wheel free of buttons. Nice high quality soft touch materials and aluminum. Not to mention leather & alcantara seats...simply put this is a true sports car !!!

Why is this car stupid for a daily? It gets good gas mileage 22/30 (manual) 25/34 (auto), has navigation standard, and will have a decent sized trunk unlike say the Miata or S2000 but those are driven everyday as well. I'm not saying the back seats are usable, but people in Miata's and S2000's do without backseats anyways. This is a hardtop Miata-like car that will outhandle most things on the road today.

Just because it doesn't have an STi engine doesn't mean it can't be a fun car. It's not all about drag slip times.
