The inside of the cluster is purple and green flip paint. So when I just have my main beam on you can see the purple mostly, even from a distance. If I have my full beam on it seems to make the inside of the light a bit pink, which is pretty cool, but noone would see that anyway.

Anyone have any thoughts on colour matching my 3 lower grilles on the front (both fog surrounds and centre)? I think it would tidy the car up abit more, more of a murdered look at the front as the standard ones lose their colour over time. Has anyone seen this done? Had a quick search and found nothing.
Edit: By colour matching I meant getting them sprayed gloss black.

Ok, so got the car washed and also took all my stickers off, except the iloveass one. Just heated them a bit with a hairdryer, and then peeled away using my nails to start it off. Didn't take long, and then took off the excess adhesive with some GooGone and a microfibre towel, can't see any marks from them at all!

Before GooGone

After GooGone

These all went too...

Also took some more photos of the headlights. The lights are different with every angle. :D

And a few random shots...

Here's the interior with my new ashtray, and then my AUX exit.

ps. Camera really needs cleaned

Thanks! Stickers are becoming a bit childish, especially where I'm from. Bit of a noob mod these days.

I was really unsure about my lights before I got them fitted, I'd always wanted black GTI lights but got these cheap. Completely fallen in love with them! :D They stand out so much at night because of the purple, everyone stares :P

Ok so got a letter in relation to my purchase from parts4euro.com, found out that the customs tax was pretty substantial... :( but I don't care, I will have the package by Tuesday :P

Also took some more interior shots, notice my Freddo frog :P

And another few exterior shots from this morning. Think the next step is to get the front bumper all sorted out, not 100% sure what to do with it yet, any suggestions are welcome! Also plan to get black wheel bolts, and then plastidip the top of my lock nuts. Just so they look better against the wheels.

ps. theres Freddo again...

Brakes need a good clean too...

My order from parts4euro.com finally came, all fitted and all and I hope to get some pictures up by the weekend! Unfortunately some of the clips were broken, but it all still works fine! Ps. New tail lights :D

Here's a few phone pics for the meantime.

Ok so got a few better shots of the lights. I ordered them a few weeks ago and cost me around £300 all in. Was pretty pleased with the packaging, all nice and tightly packed, with bubble wrap etc. Only bad thing is two of the clips that hold the bulb holder to the unit were broken, the same clip on each side. But the holder still stays on pretty tight so it shouldn't cause any problems. Anyway here's the pics (there's a lot )

Also got round to fitting my R32 pedals, the accelerator still needs a good clean with metal polish to get the scratches out but I was just in a mood to get them fitted

very unique. I was scrolling and scrolling and kept thinking how you needed LED tails - great job man. Glad you got rid of the stickers. Loved the R8 replicas

How do you not like the green? Haha. I've always thought of changing it, but think green stands out the most! :p

Thanks, I've always wanted these tails, just never wanted to pay the price. Was very close to getting MK6 R style ones, with the L LEDs. But wanted something more OEM. And I haven't seen these in Northern Ireland yet ;)

As for the R8s... I did love them to bits, when they were clean they looked awesome but then people started putting them on POS cars and I thought it was time for a change!

How easy was the install on the LEDs? Did they need any coding? As I know on the us cars they need coding but do they need to on uk versions?

Easy as anything, no coding needed, just plug and play. Although I did need a red bulb for my foglight and amber lights for my indicators as they aren't LED and the lenses are clear so you need a coloured bulb. However the outside two lights needed a piece of plastic taken off to allow them to fit, but took 5 minutes more.

I'm currently in exams so that's why there's been no progress at all recently, and also have news of a potential new car
