Alright I am pulling the trigger and trading my 17 inch sparcos with almost bald bfgs and some cash for this guys 16 inch Hoosier setup. Will report back Thursday with hopefully some new best times.

Have you taken them to the track yet? I might go today again and test out these 245/40/18 dunlop z1s that came with my wheels, see if i have any traction..it would be nice to break 12s on 18s.

VERY hot and humid day today at the track with OK'ish track prep. Won 16 out of 17 races. Only loss was to a 10 second 126mph Trans Am. Beat my old personal best of 12.53 9 times in 17 passes!!! My 60's hovered right around 2.0(the old BFGs would pull a 2.0x maybe once every 5 runs) until my final two runs where I went from 18psi down to 16 psi and each time I broke into the 1.9xs. I wonder how low I can go before seeing diminishing returns

Final 2 runs were 12.38@112.08 and 12.39@112.22. Having traction in 2nd gear now is a HUUUUGGGGEEEE help. I cannot wait to see what I can do with a properly prepped track, cooler/less humid weather, and maybe a little temporary weight reduction(I only removed my spare). Also having FK streetlines that are only height adjustable and never adjusting them since I went "low"(1 tight finger gap all around) is hurting my times I am sure.

Maybe, just maybe with my seats and shit removed, the right atmospheric conditions and the perfect launch I could see a 11.9x before the season is over

Happy with my purchase, as my BFGs were bald and utter shit to begin with

I know u run great times and all, but what is your secret

? I was launching my (DSG) car about as well as I think it could be launched honestly. Tiny bit of wheel spin with launch control at 2.5-3k followed by FINALLY having traction in 2nd gear. And honestly if I can hit a 11.9x sometime this season i would be thrilled to say the least!!!

your stock steelies work fine, btw your probably not gonna like them imo the side walls are are to stiff, for 35 bucks id say give it a shot tho
