All Dash error lights Flashing beeping

has any one had this problem before? All the error lights began to flash and beep in my car while driving at 40mph the speedo and rpm's began to drop to 0 and bounce back up also the fuel guage would drop to e then back up
all this at one shot. I only have 34k and this shit has happened like 8 times but this time it didn't go away upon restarting the car.
here is a video of my dash taken on my way to the dealer
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x_blSG5LP48
the dealer is charging me 500 just to check the problem
and i'm 4k out of warranty

I'd tell that dealer to get fucked, and go to a different dealer.

I told them they better warranty the damn thing i've been to the dealer like 8 or 9 times for cel and other problems and the car never goes more than 6 months without something fuckin up. "LEMON" I called vw directly and told them to fix the car or take it back they said they have to wait for the diagnostic. 500bucks to do a extensive diagnostic and if I didn't ok it they wouldn't touch the car.
They kept asking me what did you do or change on it, what chip did you buy. All stock buddy so they can't blame me for those problems.

You're low on fuel.

Have to show this to the wife as justification not to keep the car past its warranty.

Not sure about op state. Normally it has to be newer/ish car. 1 issue that dealer couldnt resolve in 30days or 3 tries in 12/24 months. Alot of rules to get car lemon lawed. Often will still owe for the miles you used.

In my case I ended up giving my 06 back to dealer and starting payments all over again from start. They stayed the same and they couldnt find a 06 in CW so I got a 2007.

I will call vw again in the morning and let them know what the diagnostic was
This is getting ridiculous 9 times at the dealer and it's always something big turbo sensor water leak 02 sensor broken intake manifold valve cover gasket and now steering rack and module . I was planning on trading at close to 60k due to problems but 34k god damn

The dealer didn't give me much info other than the rack and module are bad but they still have no explination for other stuff that went wrong.
I went hulk mode and started smashing shit at home to calm down a bit I know if I blow up at the dealer or on the phone with VW I won't get anywhere so I will keep my cool, if nothing gets repaired I will loose that cool and drive the car into the dealer

call from VW just now and based on all the info I gathered on the fourms I went over how many people have had this problem and all the visits I made to the dealer on my new car, They said we can't do anything based on peoples opinions if it is not a vw statement its not true. hahaha that shit is funny

If the car had already been in for these problems before your warranty expired and they failed to adequately address the issue causing them, I'd say you have a case for the work to be done under warranty, and you should call both the dealer and VWoA on that.

Failing that, take `em to small claims. They'll have a little more appreciation for reality than your dealer, I'd bet.
