Got the car last June with only 25k miles on her. I don't have a good camera, and even if I did have one I would have no idea how to use it....so these are all cellphone pics for the time being.

Back when it was 4x4 mode it didn't seem AS ridiculous, but looking at these pictures actually makes me laugh out loud...

Catch can, APR stage 1, and P-Flo installed

Next came the experimentation with plastidip and the center plate had to be changed....I also rattle can colormatched my emblems front and back

I had a set of RS4 reps from my B5 A4 which I traded locally for a set of Flik Justice 19s....bad idea on the 19s with monster truck suspension.

The fitment was all sorts of wrong with those 19s so I rocked my rashed up Huffs while I looked for another set of wheels....and then I found these
18x8.5/9.5 Work Rezax.
They metal was in terrible shape so the PO had them powdered in this REALLY thick gray crap, they were also a bit damaged so I had them completely refinished by my local powdercoater.

Oh yeah I forgot to mention while I was getting the Works redone, I installed some FK-Silverline Xs..

and bought colored lowers and gli sideskirts from RabbitMKV

Around that time I decided to change up my trunk a bit and went with the color scheme...

Here is me trying fruitlessly to come up with a trunk design to house the 50+lb JL 13w7 and amps (I have two that size but only one is pictured)

Just some random shots while my helpers were still in the fronts

Then came winter. It was SO mild that I never even got around to installing my steelies (they need hub rings and I never ordered them....)

Spring rolled around finally and got out to some early meets...

one of these things is not like the otherrzzzzzzzz

Finally got around to taking my helpers out and found that my wheels couldn't even turn 1/64th with the fronts spun all the way down haha

Got it to a perfect drivable height here

In the meantime I finally (after a year of searching) found some of these ultra-rare centercaps and even rarer lug covers for my wheels so I had them powdercoated and are on the car now, but don't have any closeups up the wheels with them on. I only needed one but bought a set of 3 since they are NEVER sold.

Road trip to Kentucky (horrible idea on these wheels and those roads...

On the way back, my dad got nailed by this in his rental Genesis and sent it skyward only to land on me...

The cloud of smoke i was in from dragging that under my lip was ridiculous...from the front they thought I blew my car up

Went outside one day and thought my cat was dead....turns out he was just being retarded

I had my eye on a wolfie grille and rline fogs for quite some time by now so I got them. The fogs showed up and I installed them promptly, and took the grille to have it colormatched to my wheels. I also ordered a "votex replica lip" that ended up being a total POS Ed.30 rep that isn't even nearly deep enough to mount any way other than purely by the tabs....

They gave me my money back and didn't want the shitbox lip returned so I rocked it as a temp since its gonna get wrecked on these roads anyways.

This is my buddy Beer and Cheese and I going to pick up his 20th (met the guy in KY coincidentally)

The shop painted my old grille and the colormatch was awful, so I used it as the roadtrip grille since I don't care if it got rockchipped up..

Not even close to the right color ^^^

Got back to IL and decided to rattlecan the POS lip so it doesn't stick out like crazy

Promptly tore the lip almost completely off in the TBK parking lot...

Coilover install on the 20th

Went to pick up my grille and lip and found this...already fucked

Only the grille was done, so I tried it on

Went back a couple days later and the lip was finally done so I threw that on. They painted the tiny little center supports (NOT the noticeable ones that are on all votexes) white when I told them black so I will be plastidipping or painting them SOON

....and that's how it sits today

Sorry about the mega post but it was about time I get my story out there. I know its not to everyone's taste but you know how many fucks I give? None.

cool story broham, nice as well. I think the wheels would look 10x better if you polished those white lips. Just an idea.

Your car is nice!! I like a lot but my favorite part in all of this was the part when you thought your cat was dead! Hahaha had me dying when I read "turns out he was just being retarded" but nice car man!!

Yeah its absolutely fuckin ridiculous that they sent them out like that. Not only do they have the monster truck suspension on it, but they leave the lowers black to make it look THAT much higher off the ground...
