just wondering, does anyone have any warranty issues with MM when you install your boost guage (for those still under warranty)

just want to clarify before i go for mine. Planning to do at SHH cause i hear MM won't do it for you.

Should not be a problem as long as you don't touch/modify the engine. Boost gauge is only for viewing.

What gauge are you getting Fumikane?

i got the prosports ones. was eyein' defi..but burns too much of a hole in me wallet, if i did.

i'd post up a pic when i do eventually install it.

prosport?? nvr heard about it. hows it ike? post some pics when u install it. yea mm might void waranty coz of the wiring issues. If theres anything regarding with wiring, they might void the waranty.

so ur making a custom pod?

its good to see VW owners from brunei and from the other side of the world at this here website. i'm new here by the way and you guys can call me wot (women on top? ....just kiddin') i'm from arkansas and yes, like brunei, there are more vws here than subaroos or evos. :laugh:

so hows the tunin' market out there in brunei? guess wat....me and my partner from ABT, we kinda plannin' on to drop to australia at them local dragstrip out there and we're bringin' 2 of our very best mk5 gti's to test head-to-head with them locals down there. Before doin' that, we're kinda thinkin' of dropping over to brunei for a couple of weeks to do some magazine shootin' . Yes, as this will be a sponsored trip, we'll be bringin' our toys along namely my very own 400bhp mk5 gti and my partner's mk5 gti (powered by audi s4 engine). Both cars have a respectable warp speed of up to 315kmh plus !!!

who shall we get in touch with out there in brunei? are there any gti clubs?

good luck to ya'll and make sure you mod your golf safely....they're just cars for cryin' out loud...yeah yeah..

we are very honoured that you chose brunei as part of your trip. unfortunately, there is no official gti clubs here in brunei. all of us here in the forum are just friends and colleagues.

however, we would love to see your cars

and when you said sponsored trip, do you mean FULLY sponsored? i.e. accommodation, fuel etc..

GtiBrunei: I still got Aircon coming out from the Vents and I can still adjust the air flow.

hey andy,

i was asking around and it is true that when you change your springs, the original shocks will have a shorter lifespan. but for now, your shocks are ok. but you need to get new shocks (koni yellows or eibach or bilstein) soon, probably by early or mid 2008..

The loovers that controls the airflow is still attached to the a/c vent. I can just pull out the gauge and adjust the loovers manually. Its a little bit dodgy though but i still have the airflow.
