Is stage 2 apr worth it?

How much hp am I looking to gain over apr 93 octane that I alredy have? 10 - 20 hp? So what would be my total hp at the crank roughly. What 1/4 mile times should I see also I have dsg.

one thing that i should share, spending $1,299.00 for 10-20 more hp looks not very feasible. However, I have better throttle response, more torque, much sweeter sound, and of course better acceleration on higher rpms. The car pulls real strong. I like it so far.

Can you give more details on this Stage 2? It's not even on the APR site, unless it's the ECMS thing. This 10-20 HP is likely in addition to the gains of thier regular upgrade I take it

if there is one, it should be the K04 upgrade and requires the first 2 steps, i might be wrong, but pretty sure.

On a turbo car an exhaust is worth more than the raw hp as well, usually you get quicker response and lower EGT's, especially if you go catless. another reason to go catless is to make al gore cry...

APR's stage 2 consists of- Carbonio carbon fiber intake system, APR ecu upgrade (flashes), and a 3" stainless steel turbo-back exhaust system. well worth every penny

its totally worth it

stage 3 is a turbo but its just a teaser as of now. and its somewhere around 4kish which might now be worth it since i think that will def void the engine warranty.

guys at the dealerships in IL springfield and bloomington seem to be dicks about mods ( atleast the oens i talked to)

I've been talking with GHL motorsports and they will make me a catless DP, however there will be an issue with the o2 sensor which is where I'm at right now. I know that when I had my WRX that the dp would just have a bung that you could plug the sensor into. Another remedy that GHL had was to get an o2 simulator. We'll see, but I definitely want to do it because I know that catless will yield the most power and will also be the least expensive.

Win win situation. Haha and I can only hope that Al Gore would cry. ;)

Stage 3 is going to be a T28 turbo kit and won't be available for a while. It'll run about 450 -480 horsepower. Pricing is somewhere around 6k.
