My mod plan

Since I just got my car 2 weeks ago and I'm still in the break in process, I've had some time to go through what mods I want to do once it's ready.

My plan is to go with the GIAC re-flash and MAYBE the addition of a downpipe and catback exhaust later on.

So, whoever has the GIAC re-flash post up and tell me your dyno #'s, track times, etc. Also, for any of you southeast PA guys, does AWE tuning in Willow Grove have a good reputation? On a side note, can anyone provide some proof of the DSG limiting tq to 258ft lbs? All I seem to find are some posts about it, but no hard proof showing this. Thanks in advance!

I've seen some posts from some people emailing HPA about the limiter. They are saying that yes there is a limiter and yes they have a way to disable it. If you really want more info than that or something closer to the truth email HPA and ask them.

I would say AWE is very a good shop. Never been there but they are a huge company in the Audi VW scene and thats there personal shop.
Seems like what Ive read recently is that there isnt a torque limiter on DSG. I dont know different people say different things.

Looks like AWE is it then. I'll probably contact GIAC and AWE to have them answer any other questions I have about the re-flash etc.

It doesn't seem like many people run the GIAC tune. Is there any reason why, or I'm I just not realizing that alot of people have it?

Any GIAC owners out there with a review on the re-flash?
