Hey guys, got my license renewal today and I have to go in for emissions. Has anyone had to go in yet? I'm hoping apr's programming works the way they say it does. That and I'm catless so my car stinks pretty bad. Any advice?

Hey guys,
Recently quit my part time job so I'm taking what I do on the side a little further. I'm giving out 100 dollar bills to anybody that refers me to somebody who needs a complete brake job. (Pads and rotors) I would obviously pay you after the job is done. Heres how it works: I come out to the person. I have done them while people are at work, or simply in their driveway at home. I purchase all the materials before hand. After the install I give the person a rebate card with information on how to get a 100 dollar bill back. They have two months to cash in on the 100 bucks. Again, they will be paid once the referral job is done. I offer this because of common sense. It's a good way to give back to the customer and generate future business. I'm trying to provide a service to people with little or no time to get their car into the shop and get robbed blind. I operate on ANY shift. I also offer at work or at home full car detailing. Wash, wax, claybar, interior vacuum, wheel scrub, buff, strip, polish etc. Anything the crazy guys in the jumpsuits can do but for much cheaper. For all you law junkies, I do have agreements from me not being able to sue you if i hurt myself, to me being responsible for your brakes failing and you getting hurt, to me paying for any damage. Yes I am insured. I also offer a warranty through me for no additional fee to come back out inspect and correct any problems that you may have with the brakes. Have yet to have anybody use that. Just thought I would post on here to see if anybody likes 100 dollar bills and helping out a local. Obviously prices vary with the car, type or rotor, type of pad, etc. But right now I'm not interested in making huge profits, which is why I am offering the 100 back. Additional or repeat business and happy customers have far more value to me than robbing people of their money. PM me for any more information, carry on. |

Figured I'd say hello. Moved to Madison a little bit ago and more recently picked up a GTI. I was wondering what kind of car "scene"/clubs are around here?
