I'm surprised at how much of the OEM is remaining. It's a testament to the durability of the chassis. When you look at other builds of race cars they resort to building tubular subframes and completely original suspension mounts.

To be honest the OEM stuff is all that is needed in the majority of cases. Whether that be OEM VW, Audi or Seat sport...

The Seat stuff does make all the difference though...

Next step is to hook up the rad and the Seat sport intercooler...little bit of this and that and hit the rollers...

We are running a KO4 set-up very similar to the Seat Supercopa race cars.

looks amazing! Meanest looking GTI to date! glad to see the side strips back on there, only one suggestion, color match the cover plate where the OEM mirrors were? Glad I sub'd this thread!

Cover plate is a piece of carbon...mind you i've never been happy with it.
