Sorry if this is old news. I read where it's only going to cost $40K for the AMG. I'm thinking no way but if it's true for a 350HP AWD.................

I first saw this car on Yahoo and it said $40k. I was seriously thinking about getting one since I will be selling my Evo here in the future. But the base starting price is going to be about $50k so I may stop the thought process on this one. There is no way someone is going to be able to buy a Mercedes AMG for $40k brand new.

Just read in Autoweek that Mercedes estimates it's 0-60 in 4.5s. So perhaps that's why it's called a "45"? The article said the intake was the size of a softball.
