If I were to delete the resonator, and change muffler to an aftermarket muffler which is a good brand/muffler to not sound rice? I plan to one day buy a cat back but that's not till I need a downpipe also which really arnt in the works anyone soon, but quiet stock car is getting boring.

Book says 5w40 or 5w30, searched a couple posts on here and seen mention of 0w40 checked Mobil 1's and they said 0w40... So should I go against the owners manual and go with 0w40??

Let me start by saying, hi I'm new! Anyway not only new to the site but vdubs in general.. My question is I'm gonna buy a CAI.. Being an aftermarket part and different air intake will it throw engine codes? My car is a 2009 jetta Wolfsburg with the 2.0t TSI, otherwise completely stock.
