A/C compressor not working

Hi, I am new to this site and I am hoping someone here can help me. I have a 2005 GTI my air conditioing stopped working and I know the cause is my compressor is not running. I am wonderring if there is a fuse for the compressor and if so, where is it located?

Really? Is there anyway to fix this issue and is there a fuse for the compressor anywhere?

Just get your dad to take it to a shop and get the whole setup replaced for ~1200 bux. worked for me :D

but the shop sucked balls. they didnt plug in my map sensor. if they do that punch them in the face really hard. they also didnt put in like four screws. die crappy radiator shop!!!

(end of rant haha)

Are you under 50K? If so take it to the vw dealership & have it fixed under warranty, it's a common issue.

2005 people - MKIV. I believe the fuse is on top of the battery. Also you could have a leak or a bad pressure switch. You really need to take it to an AC shop.
