I never put jack stands under the car before and heard I should put under the subframe.
That means I need to jack it high enough to have the stands to be underneath.
So, do I jack it up on oneside put a jack stand on the same side THAN jack up the other side?

You wont be able to keep the suspension loaded with stands, you will need ramps... or something that you can place under the wheels.
Yes, our cars don't have a center jack point, so this is your only option.

(insert this thread is going places pic) in the front i put mine under the steering rack subframe, in the rear i don't remember
A good place to put the stands is the cylindrical bracket that connects the front control arms to the subframe.
I put them in the channel that runs parallel with the side skirt/pinch weld.

My floor jack isn't that big, but it says it's capable of holding 2 tons.
I got it at pepboys for like 40$.

I personally would not... but I've never done it and while it seems extremely unstable I'd have to look at the control arms to see. Right now I'm just using my imagination.
