From the above pic^ the new wrx looks really good. The double stacked lights are alittle bit odd but maybe subaru paying homage to rally racing look? I think it really makes previous gen look bad by highlighting its baja style front end.

Not sure how you can miss the resemblance. At least it looks like another Subaru instead say, a Turbo Yaris.

It's a subaru... it's blue.... it has 4 doors... other than that... nope, not really seeing it.
