but if you wanna use a downloading service that wont allow you to take the music, like napster, then you can use Tunebite to convert the protected files into non-protected files. this way you can put it on your ipod. i use it with napster and it works like a charm.

As my ipod is on the verge of failing.....I don't know what to do. Mainly because i love my ipod interface with my Alpine headunit. If not for that I would probably go for a zune.

I bought a 4gb Nano back when they came out. I'm thinking about buying one of the big iPods to put in my car when I get my GTI. I can barely fit any music on my little 4 gig, I need more space. The Nano is nice when you're working out or something but it sucks when it comes to making your library portable.
