hey some european country (i dont remember which one exactly) has high income tax, but the government pays for education, healthcare, and public transportation. sure you pay more tax but at least your tax money goes back working for you.
then look at the US. we pay all these taxes and where do those money go? to the pockets of politicians who don't really do shit.
but overall im glad bloomberg is out. fuck his anti-gun campaign he can shove it up in his ass.

no, at that time, business owners simply reinvested in their businesses and their employees... thus their overall profit/cash cows were lower, thus the money was not necessarily given to the gov't, it was "given" to the actual workers who made the owners the money.
If people make no money, who will be able to buy the products that people make. It's a cycle... and at the current rate, it will only get worse.
