Shmee & those two guys from Apex taxi have done videos on it..the best being Robert from Apex, who did sound analysis of the audio from the videos to prove that the gearbox ratios are factory & not what Jerod Shelby later said they were..the top speed posted was unattainable...let alone that Shmee used good old maths to & observation to prove that the car couldn't be doing the top speed due being paced by a helicopter with a max top speed of 150mph with external camera rig & the telemetry was showing 190mph...or the line markers which are fixed distances were going past slower than they should have been, or the time taken to do the run over the set distance means the average speed was way low for a run which was supposed to have a big chunk at 300+mph..........
Another point is that the makers of the GPS systems have issued a statement (also mentioned by Shmee) stating that although they guarantee their gear that was used, as their blokes were NOT there they could not guarantee the GPS results as they could not guarantee the set up...another thing, for a so called company to want to set the fasted road top speed, you would think that they would have at least three different GPS from different makers suckered to the windscreen..like you see in other top speed tests..this is to average out the GPS units & remove any anomalies
The car is capable of top speeds, but that video proves it didn't do the speed they say the telemetry stated...the telemetry was FUBAR...
