Yeah, it was on ISO200. To smooth out night photos, do you boost up the aperture to balance out the shutter speed? I'm trying to make them super clear like the ones I've seen on here. Maybe I need lighting? I don't take a lot of night photos :frown:

Nor do I. But when I do, for stills, I normally just use a longer exposure time.

200 is plenty good for long exposures. The grain most likely came up if you brightened the image up with a lot of existing shadows. If you want a sharp image, use something around f8 and adjust the shutter according to that.

Heres my exif for the bridge shot I posted up not too long ago:
Exposure 30
Aperture f/11.0
Focal Length 16 mm
ISO Speed 200

Probably not my "best," but turned out pretty decent I think.

My son yesterday at a pumpkin patch. Which one looks better? Natrual, or warm filter?

messed up a little on the hat but you get my drift

No, not at all. I was considering doing the same thing. Didn't have much time editing last night and I haven't gotten around to it yet this morning. Wanted to maybe keep the sky blue with everything else warm. Even thought about maybe doing everything B&W except my kiddo and the pumpkins.
