Yea, I got something along those lines also. It was "sent to "some tracking #", you can check it if you think im lying". I guess we will find out once the buyer receives/doesnt receive the product.

according to UPS tracking service you only transfered the billing info. I.E haven't shipped out any package yet. To fill out the billing info on the 16th and to still not have anything "in transit" as of the 24th seems fishy to me and common of fraudulent sales.
If I were you Rabbit I would put a claim in with paypal as well as contact your credit card company regarding the charge back.
Did the OP (SanchoDub) give you anything or any proof that he had said item. pictures of the item for sale photos of the item with a card with the users member name email adress or current date in it. These are all things people should do to have safety and security when purchasing items 2nd hand in forums and said craiglist functions and when not secured with a service such as ebay or so.

Thats the same tracking number I have had for a week. I am in Hawaii right now and have limited internet access. I should have filed an escalation before I left, but didnt have time to. I already filed a claim. I have given sancho my phone number to call me and i asked him for his. This guys a joke and should be banned. And unfortunately, I used money from my bank account to send money. I wish I would have used a credit card

I have made numerous attempts to contact the seller. The seller told me that he would be sending the item out on Tuesday (6/17/08). Today is now Friday and he has only said that he is too busy to check messages at his warehouse. I have given him my number asking him to call me to find out what is going on. The website i purchased the item from shows when he was online and I have seen him online several times on the past few days. I am tired of waiting for the purchased item and just want my money back.

Best of luck man, you should ALWAYS use a credit card when buying something with paypal.

Paypals protection is a total joke, but your credit card company will always go to bat for you.

I sent him money on the 19th for a R32 rear bumper. My tracking number says " Billing information received" He hasn't responded to any of my emails or PM. I sent the money through paypal also. I guess I have to file also.

I filed my claim today with paypal and my money was returned within a few hours. I hope everyone who files a claim with paypal has as good of luck as I did. I hate it that we all had so much trouble out of this guy.

I just filed a claim also with paypal. They told me it will take 15 days.
sanchoDUB, all you have to do is ship the product or return my money and i'll remove the claim. I wish you would just have returned any of my emails or messages.

wow total scammer caught. hopefully since you all of you are making a dispute with paypal or whoever is on your side they will see that and realize that so you can all get your money back accordingly.
