Quick update- So my car has been sitting a lot this winter. And whenever I would drive it the car would sputter when I got over 3000 rpms. So I changed the spark plugs and it that didn't seem to help. So I got a brand new set of R8 red top coil packs from ECS, swapped those out and it's running as good as new.
At 63k miles it seems like this is a common issue as I've been reading from this and other forums.
