I want to do homebrew, but I would just drink too much.

suprisingly... I doubt you would. Beer takes a long time to go from ingredients to beer. Ales are 2-4 weeks. Lagers are 4-12 weeks.


After that long, you savor every drop. I probably buy more comercial beer now that I am homebrewing, than I ever did. Part of that is trying to expand my taste for beers I didn't like before, or hadn't tried.

This is what I'm afraid of.

Knowing my personality and the way I stock pile things, I'd wind up with a fucked liver from trying all the different flavors i want to try and make.

It's kinda like my cigar collection. It's so fucking big I don't know what to smoke.
