i just took the knob off and added the red stripe today bc i plan on doing the DIY red stiched boot and thought it would look good with it. i will post more pics up tomorrow if i get it finished before work

Though I agree you might want to do something to alter the flat top.

so i decided to take of the little GTI emblem that is on the cover of our leather maunals and mount it on the top of the knob. i still plan on trying to do some engraving soon. i also did the red stitched shift boot. it all looks really good together!
