One thing to keep in mind with the intake is that you will need full solid engine mounts. It's super close to the hood and the stock mounts move enough to where the pipe would hit the hood.

Unless you've seen that vary Eric?

every car i've made one for so far has had upgraded mounts (i think every one has had BSH actually). The intake mount that i used for the intake, bolts to the base of the passenger side mount. Im not sure if there is enough slop with the stock mounts for it to tweak the support bracket when the engine moves forward and back (ex, intake bolted to mount/body, other end of intake strapped to engine/turbo, twists intake bracket). Either way, there is a decent amount of underhood clearance, so i dont see it being too "tall"

I ran eric's passenger side intake on my fsi with the BSH poly mounts and never had a problem.

That's what I meant. Not necessarily solid, but not stock. I run the BSH poly mounts as well.

Ah, so it's not the actual clearance, but the movement may cause it to twist the support bracket which will bend the intake pipe itself.

Hmmm, after I do the passenger side intake I will have free space to add a nice big fat huge w/m tank....

Yes, passenger intake with dv relocate would be sweet. IDK how hard an intake mani would be to fab too. Maybe wishful thinking.

anything is possible, just need to find a car to mock it off of. I cant exactly use mine anymore

I'd say we could mock one based on my car when I stop by for the valve cleaning, but I'm sure the KO4 pipe is different...

Edit: I guess you'd take it off. I have my stock KO3 pipe if anything. Just a thought.

Meh, too expensive, limited market, HEP already makes a baller manifold

Bring it by. I could atleast make a jig for it and modify the design to suit what we need to make it work

If you can do it I'll definitely buy one (Turbo discharge pipe)
